Omiš is one of two well-known destinations for free climbing in Croatia, but here all climbing routes are just a few minutes from the town centre and are easily accessible. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced free climber, there is something for everyone – from the easiest slopes to previously unclimbed ridges. The height varies from 10 or 30 meters to higher grades ranging from 4c to 8b. 

Omiš has about 300 routes in numerous sectors around the Cetina River Canyon. Of these there are 46 recreational courses. You can choose to climb in the shade or on sunny cliff-sides; the type of the rock is a great quality limestone. What an amazing experience it is to view the old town, the sea or the Cetina gorge after having scaled high vertical cliffs with only the strength of your hands and feet! And best of all? Climbing is possible year round in Omiš!
